THE PICS

Feel free to check out the pics. Start the slideshow - in the middle of it there are some pics of the men of turkish  basars in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir. These people are very friendly and extreme hard-working.  12 to 14 hours a day they stand out there and try to make business. I took the pics without any instructions to them, they made the posings by themselves. At least , this is a kind of self-marketing of the men.  The tourist ladys are shouting " don't smile- don't smile and look there - more sad" and I thought : Do what ever you want, look ,how you think, the world should see you. Later on I reduced the colours and pushed the contrast. I think it is in better harmony with the hard life of these men .

THE SIMIT SELLER

Last year , after work out in a gym, I met a man in the middle of the night. He was a simit (like a donut  and normaly for breakfast) seller and he was crying. I asked him , where the problem was and he told me, that he had lost his purse - 7 hours ago. And now he could not go to his boss. To make a long story short, I gave him the money, he earned (and lost)  that day. He was jumping around.  And we are talking about 12 turkish Lira. Less than 6 Euro.

THE SMILE

Enjoy your day  and  smile a bit . Try to give a little smile to a person you like or , better , to a person you do not like .
